description

Dragon Ball is returning to your home consoles in 2015, and one of the coolest announcements yet is that YOU will be the newest fighter to join the roster!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse promises a wide variety character customization features, including physical features from the various Dragon Ball races (Earthling, Majin, and Namekian - with more to come). Customization doesn't stop at appearance, as the game's time travelling hero you will have to choose your Dragon Ball character's fighting style and abilities by training under a 'Master'.

Each Master will have different skillsets and patterns depending on who the player chooses (Goku, Vegeta, etc.) Your chosen Master will also be able to join you in the battlefield should you need assistance.

Xenoverse is filled with time travel themes, so who better to be your guide than Trunks? Trunks will show you around Toki Toki City, the primary hub in the game, and introduce you to places like the "Toki Storage Room" - a place where players can meet other players, train with their master, or take part in story mode and co-op quests. These quest modes will feature some massive enemies including Great Age Vegeta!

If you're familiar with the Dragon Ball universe then you know all about the world tournament. Bandai Namco Entertainment have said that the tournament will be a major feature of the upcoming title, where fighters from all around the world will be able to compete in tournaments organized by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Definite Purchase
Largest roster of pilots and gundams of any gundam game, tons of replay value and very entertaining. A definite purchase for any gundam fan.

This is truly a masterpiece and should be in the games library of any PS4 owner who enjoys fighting games or loves Dragonball.

Interesting game
A wonderful game with great graphics, unit and pilot selection, and great track to select when fighting.

From NIS America...
I have been a fan of NIS America's games since I was a child and I usually like them. This game is no difference. There is not much to say about the story and gameplay. But the Vs. battle is nice to play despite of the cute characters. Good for spending your short free time for several days.

Great But Could Be Better
If you've played any of the PS3 Gundam Vs. games, this is pretty much the same thing with some really nice graphics and a couple of mechanic tweaks. The good: Over 90 Gundam's to choose from with an additional 100+ to use as assists. The standard dashing moves have been upgraded a bit (you can now dash downwards at will). Weapon load outs and buttons are about the same as before. The game runs really smoothly and so far, the online net code has been stable. Online matches range from 1 on 1 to 3 vs. 3 and there are no problems or long waits finding matches. The entire thing is very quick with minimal downtime from playing. The Gundams all look fantastic and the music is superb (even on the standard version of the game). The negative: Arcade mode is really simplified with not as many paths as before which is a small bummer. The online ranked matches are not yet available (right now everyone is playing casual/non ranked but this is supposed to be coming soon. There is a DLC tab which is greyed out, how many mechs and what their cost will be is still a mystery. That said, if you loved the arcade action of the first few games in the series, you will have a blast with this one.
